John G Gordon, Managing Partner
John graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1980. He was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 1982 and is the Managing Partner in the firm.
A Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with wide experience in restructuring, John also has responsibility over the Employment Law Department within the practice. He has developed an unrivalled knowledge in the field of Education, Trusts and Charity law and is primary advisor to the maintained schools sector in Northern Ireland and the Diocese of Down & Connor.
John has been Treasurer of the Law Society in Northern Ireland for the last 14 years and a Law Society Council member since 1987. He is a member of the Lord Chancellor's Insolvency Rules Committee and the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission. John is also a Trustee of the Solicitor Benevolent Association and a Director of Law Society Financial Services. John is consistently recommended in "Chambers" and "Legal 500" each year in Employment Law and Restructuring/Insolvency.
