Maria Glover, Associate Solicitor
Maria joined the firm in 2004 having excelled in her studies at Queen's University, Belfast and graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Law. Maria's exceptional academic achievements were acknowledged in 2005 when she was awarded the Lord Chief Justice's prize.
In practice, Maria has become a key advocate within the firm, regularly appearing in the High Court on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners, companies, sole traders and individuals. Her areas of expertise include Bankruptcy and Insolvency matters, debt recovery and Enforcement of Judgments, Contract and Consumer Law, financial disputes, debt management and general litigation.
In November 2009 Maria was honoured to receive the inaugural Junior Solicitor of the Year Award from the Law Society of Northern Ireland as part of the Solicitor Recognition Awards which were launched "to recognise the most outstanding practitioners in the solicitors' profession in Northern Ireland".
Maria is a Sub-Editor of the Bulletin of Northern Ireland Law and assists in co-ordinating the Insolvency Course for trainee solicitors at Queen's University and the University of Ulster. She also liaises with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland on their "Law for Accountants" course.
